The Web Site Design Process

After our first contact with you (be it by phone, email, or bumping into you on the street) we will set up a meeting to discuss your website needs in person in our office or yours, at your convenience.

At the first meeting, one of our designers will discuss your project with you in detail. This is really a fact-finding mission for us. Tell us everything you want to from the theme of the site, to who you believe is your target market, to your hopes and dreams and fears of how it will all work. During the discussion we'll also determine:

• if the site needs to be written in straight html pages or if it will require a back-end database for easy updates
• if you will need advertising functions such as banner rotators
• what kind of interactivity will be necessary to elicit the response you desire from your visitors
• what technology and site features will suit your needs best

After gathering all the information necessary we'll put together a formal quotation for you to review. All quotations are itemized to include any and all features you want to incorporate into your web site to give you several "a la cart" options as necessary.

Upon review of the quotation, and further discussion by phone or in person, we will address any question you may have and finalize your project. Upon signing our custom website design contract, we'll be ready to go!

We'll use the information you provided to create a professional design that suits the theme and feel of your site. With your approval of the design and the data you supply, we will begin to develop the content of your site: everything from a backend database to contact pages to real-time credit card processing until your site is just what you'd imagined or better!
