How it Works

MX Logic is a managed service whose entire purpose is to eliminate EMT, or Electronic Message Threats, and thus to help you avoid potentially damaging effects:

MX Logic's unique approach is called EMTi, or Electronic Message Threat Interdiction. Interdiction is fundamentally different, because it allows only good emails to reach your mail server. "X-Spam: exempt" in the headers means that the e-mails bound to the users are not being scanned. This means that in the MXLogic control panel, the address has been whitelisted.

Interpreting the MX-Logic Spam Quaratine Report

Below is an image of what a spam report might look like.

The purpose of the report is to list any emails quarantined by MX Logic and allow you to delete, move, or add exceptions.

In this case, this was a good email that got trapped for some reason - clicking "Release" allowed the message to come through to our inbox.

If you click on any of the options found in your Quarantine report, your browser will open a new window and allow you to review the trapped mail, release it, etc.

You can change the quarantine report frequency, using the following link "to change your spam report preferences and settings, click here."

The following is a list of options in the report.

• View Quarantined Items for this Day: A list of quarantined items by day
• Release: Sometimes MX Logic may quarantine an email as spam when it is not. If this is the case, you may click "release" to move the email to your inbox.
• Always Allow If you find that MX Logic is quarantining a legitimate email that you would like always sent to your inbox, click on "always allow" to add an exception to the spam blocker.
• Delete All Delete all currently quarantined emails
• View All Quarantined Messages View any and all quarantined messages with a variety of sorting features.

The MX Logic Spam Report email conveniently color codes all of these options. Be sure to check spam regularly for potentially wanted emails

To Add MX Logic to Your Account:

1. Login to your control panel
2. Click "Add Package"
3. Choose MX Logic
4. When added, the screen will say "Done"
5. Click "Control Panel"
6. Click MX Logic
7. Scroll down and click "Purchase". It will take 1-5 days to take effect.
