Calendar Manager
WebCalendar
is a PHP application used to maintain a calendar for one or more persons, and
can be setup in a variety of ways, such as:
- A
schedule management system for a single person
-
A schedule management system for a group of people, allowing one or more assistants
to manage the calendar of another user
-
An events schedule that anyone can view, allowing visitors to submit new events
-
An events schedule that can be viewed with iCal-compliant calendar applications
This
tool allows you to install and customize a web-based multi-user calendar.
Complete
instructions and user guides are available through the Control Panel.
Installation
Login to your control panel
Click on the 'WebCalendar Manager' icon, then click on 'Enable WebCalendar'. The
program will be installed in approximately 10 minutes.
Click
the Web Calender image to sign in.

Enter
your username: admin password: admin.

You
should change the password as soon as you log in to the session via the 'users'
menu at the bottom of the screen. To change the admin password, click the 'Users'
link, click the 'Default Administrator' link, enter the new password and click
'Set Password'.

You can customize the calendar color scheme via the Settings option.

Using Layers (from the Calendar
Help files)
Layers are useful for displaying other users' events in your own
calendar. You can specifiy the user and the color the events will be displayed
in.
Add/Edit/Delete:
Clicking the Edit Layers link in the admin section at the bottom of the page will
allow you to add/edit/delete layers.
Source:
Specifies the user that you would like to see displayed in your calendar.
Colors:
The text color of the new layer that will be displayed in your calendar. All colors
should be specified in "#RRGGBB" hexadecimal format where "RR"
is the hex value for red, "GG" is the hex value for green, and "BB"
is the hex value for blue.
Duplicates:
If checked, events that are duplicates of your events will be shown.
Disabling:
Press the Disable Layers link in the admin section at the bottom of the page to
turn off layers.
Enabling:
Press the Enable Layers link in the admin section at the bottom of the page to
turn on layers.
